How To Save A Video To Watch Later
If you’re watching or browsing a video on YouTube and want to watch it later, hover over the thumbnail video image at the top. You can it watch later or add it to a queue.

If you click on the three dots under the video, you have these options,
– Add to queue,

– Not interested,
– Don’t recommend channel,
– Report.

If I hover over the top of the video, it says, “Watch later.” If i click on watch later it says “Added” and it’s saved to my Watch later playlist.

If I click on the Watch later playlist, you can see that the video has been added to the bottom of the playlist. This is a private playlist created by YouTube. You can see the lock icon with the word “Private” next to it.

How To Sort  Videos In Watch Later Playlist
You can shuffle the videos by clicking on the left of the video to drag it and drop it where you want it. If you bring it to the top, then the thumbnail changes at the top.

If I click on the three dots to the right of the video, I can add it to a queue, save it to a different playlist, remove it from the watch later playlist, move to the top or move to the bottom.

If I drag it to the bottom, then it’s moved to the bottom of the playlist. If I click on the three dots again, then click Move it to the top, then it’s moved to the top of the playlist.

If I click on the three dots, click Add to queue, then it plays in a little mini-player down the bottom of my page. Now if I click the X, then you get a little popup saying the queue will be cleared. Are you sure you want to close the player? Click Close player.

Here’s how to create a new playlist from the watch later playlist videos. – Select video,
– Click three dots,
– Click Save to playlist.
I’m going to uncheck Watch later. I can add it to any of my current playlists or I can create a new playlist.

Click Create new playlist and give it a name. I’ll just call it “Fitness” for the purposes of this video, then I can select my privacy settings. I’m going to just make it private so it’s only available to me, so nobody else can watch it, then click Create.

If I go to the left-hand column of my channel home page, I can now see my new playlist called Fitness. If I click on Fitness I can see my Fitness playlist.

These are all videos in a private playlist that are now only available to me but not available to the public.

How do you add videos to a private playlist you’ve created?
Select the video you wish to add, click the three dots, click Save to playlist. Here I’ve got my fitness playlist so I can just add it to that or I can create a new playlist. That’s all there is to it.

How do you remove videos from the Watch later playlist?
– Hover over the video,

– Click Remove from watch later.

How To Add Videos To A Queue
Let’s go back to the YouTube homepage. Here’s another exercise video. I can save it to Watch later playlist or I can click Add to queue. If you click Add to queue and it plays in a mini-player at the bottom right of the page. When I click on the X, that says, “The queue will be cleared. Are you sure you want to close the player?” Click Close player.

You can do this for any video you’re watching or browsing on YouTube.

Keep in mind that your queue won’t save after you’ve closed your browser. If you want to continue watching later, just save your video to your Watch later playlist.

Here’s another video that I want to add to my private playlist called Fitness. Just click on the three dots, click Save to playlist, select Fitness, close the window. Now if I click on Fitness, I now have two videos that are saved to my private playlist called Fitness.

If I click on these three dots, I can collaborate so collaborators can add videos to this playlist, I can change the playlist settings and allow embedding, add new videos to the top of the playlist.

You can also click Advanced settings and click Add videos.
– Go to video search.
– Enter URL of a video I want to save in this playlist or I can select my own YouTube videos.
– If I search for “knee pain,” click Search. I can select from any of these videos. For example I choose..Two gentle stretches to reduce knee pain. I just select the video, click Add video.
