The graph for your specific videos is probably the most significant because it shows which annotation received the highest click through rate.

For example the video “How to add a subscribe button to your YouTube video in less than 3 minutes” received the highest number of clicks and click through rate compared to the other videos. This was probably because the annotation was placed at the beginning of the video.

Here are 4 valuable tips:

  1. Optimize annotation placement and duration to achieve the highest Click Through Rates (CTR) possible while simultaneously reducing Close Rates.
  2. High CTRs mean viewers are clicking on your annotations.
  3. High Close Rates mean viewers don’t find the annotations useful, so consider modifying or removing low performing annotations to improve the viewing experience.

Analyzing and optimizing the performance of your annotations will help keep more viewers on your channel and convert them into long-term subscribers.
