  1. Video Advertising

Did you know that YouTube will display ads on your YouTube videos even if you’re not a member of the YouTube Partner Program. This means YouTube will receive 100% of the ad revenue generated from your channel as long as you’re not part of the YouTube Partner Program.

Here are the criteria to become a YouTube partner.

– You need 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours in the past 12 months.

– You need to turn on 2-step verification.

– You must have zero active community guideline strikes.

YouTube says they’ll send you an email when you’re eligible to apply for the YouTube Partner Program. If you meet all these criteria, your channel will be reviewed. If you fail to meet any of these criteria, you can reapply in one month. YouTube says they’ll send you an email when you’re eligible to apply for the YouTube Partner Program. YouTube receives 45% of the ad revenue and you get 55%.

– You also must link your YouTube channel to an AdSense account.
You can link multiple YouTube channels to one AdSense account. If you click on the monetization tab on your YouTube channel, you’ll see how far you’ve got to go to meet the requirements of the YouTube Partner Program. –

– After you’ve passed the review process, you can enable monetization for your YouTube videos and start earning money from them.

Just keep in mind if your channel has been inactive for six months because you haven’t been uploading new videos to your channel, YouTube has a right to remove you from the YouTube Partner Program.

If you have a small channel, I highly recommend joining YouTube Partner Program as soon as possible so you can generate revenue from your channel and get direct support from YouTube.

2. Channel Memberships

Channel memberships allow viewers to join your channel through monthly payments in exchange for members-only badges, emojis, members-only live streams, and tips and tricks.

You have the ability to offer multiple membership levels at different prices.

To enable channel memberships, you must be a member of the YouTube Partner Program and have over 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours and be over 18 years old.

3. Merchandise

This is where fans can browse and buy official branded merchandise that’s showcased on your watch pages. If you want to see all the monetization options that are available for your channel, click on the monetization tab in YouTube Studio. As you can see, I’ve got ads, merchandise, memberships, supers, giving.

If I click on merchandise, it says showcase your merchandise. Make it easier for fans to find your official merchandise. I click get started, then I can select spreadshop or spring, and then just follow the prompts to set up your store. The merch shop will appear below the videos on your channel. To offer this, you need to belong to the YouTube Partner Program and have over 10,000 subscribers on your channel.

4. Super Chat and Super Stickers

This is where your fans pay to get their messages highlighted on the chat stream so they stand out from the rest while your live stream is going on. Super chat and super stickers can also be used during premieres as long as your live chat is enabled. Different colors stand for different amounts. If you offer a larger amount, your particular chat message will be pinned to the top and it’ll be there for a longer period of time than other colors.

What are the eligibility requirements?
Your channel must be monetized and you must be over 18 years old. This means you must be a member of the YouTube Partner Program and have 4,000 watch hours and 1,000 subscribers in the past 12 months. Keep in mind that super chat and super stickers are not available on age restricted, unlisted, private videos, or if live chat is not enabled. You also must live in a country where super chat and super stickers are available.

How much do you get paid from super chat and super stickers?
Creators receive 70% after local sales tax has been deducted. If you want to generate extra revenue from your YouTube channel, offer super chat and super stickers during your live streams. Just make sure that you thank the people that make those donations so you can build your audience quicker. If you’re using super chat during premieres, make sure you reply to the comments and questions in live chat directly.

5. YouTube Giving

YouTube giving allows creators to support causes they care about. Eligible channels can fundraise for nonprofits by adding a donate button to their videos or live streams. Viewers can then donate directly from the channel watch page or during live chat. For your channel to be eligible for YouTube giving, it must be located in the United States, Canada or United Kingdom and you must have at least 10,000 subscribers. Your channel must also be part of the YouTube Partner Program and not designated as made for kids.

You’ll be able to see the total amount of donations that you’ve raised by going to the giving tab in YouTube monetization.

Receive Donations Via PayPal
