Google AdWords - Split Testing Domain Names
Smart marketers use Google AdWords to test the profitability of their products by split testing their domain names. Selecting the correct domain name can make a huge difference in your click through rate (CTR).
How do marketers split test different domain names?
You register 2 domains..one for your web site, the other redirects to the same web site. With this technique you can determine which domain receives the most clicks.
From April 1st, 2008 Google will no longer allow you to post a display URL in your Google ad that is not your own website’s real domain name. This means you can’t use automatic redirects.
You can still use multiple domains but with no redirects.
What is the solution?
Bryan Todd has written an article how to get around the redirect problem without getting penalized by Google. It’s a totally fine method you can use to achieve the same results.

How to Make 2008 Great
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
If you want to make 2008 GREAT for your business, be sure to start off the beginning of the year with a clear goal or goals in mind. Keep your goal(s) displayed on a piece of paper where you will see it everyday (you know the saying.. “out of sight..out of mind”).
Now break down your goal into daily action steps. These small but consistent steps will help you achieve your goal. Once you have achieved your goal, repeat it again to increase your earnings.
Here’s a brief example of my one of my own plans:
Goal
Make an extra $100/day within the first 40 days of this year.
How
Create a short report of approx 21 pages writing articles and sell the report for a small fee ($7-$10).
Action Steps
For the next 21 days I will write one article per day, then create the sales page, and market it for the next 19 days using multiple marketing methods.
There are other details involved but this covers the basics.
*************************************
Does earning an extra $100/day sound good to you?
I recently purchased an ebook titled:
20 Ways to Make $100 Per Day Online
The ebook provides 20 Step-By-Step Blueprints (247 pages) you can implement right away. It’s written by individuals that are already doing this and they will show you exactly how they achieved it.
Simply take action on one of the methods mentioned and you be on your way to making an extra $100 per day.
Get started right away by visiting:

Wishing you all a very properous New Year!

Marketing Upsell - How to Upsell Your Customers
Most of you have eaten at McDonalds and been asked “do you want fries with that?’
If you accept their suggestion and purchase the fries it means you have just been upsold.
Definition of Upsell
This is a marketing term for the practice of suggesting higher priced products or services to a customer who is considering a purchase. The upsell is usually for a related product that is offered at a reduced price or sold as a higher priced item.
Benefits of the marketing upsell
1. Make more money
Extra money is made by suggesting another product. It adds value to what they have already purchased and the customer thinks they are getting a deal by purchasing the second item.
2. Repeat customers
Customers that have already purchased from you are happy to buy again providing they had a good experience and received good value for their money. They can easily become lifetime customers because they have come to trust your products.
3. Sell high priced items
If you want to sell a high-priced item you can first prepare your customer by selling several low priced items. ie create and market several ebooks or reports that lead the customer to purchase the high priced item.
Ways to upsell your customers
Order page
On your order page you could include another offer . The customer has a choice to either purchase the single item or purchase both items at a reduced price. Your customer feels he is getting a good deal because he is paying less for both items than if he purchased them separately.
Thank you page
After the customer has purchased an item he gets redirected to your thank you page. On this page you offer a second item, a subscription to your newsletter or have him subscribe to an on going email course. If he subscribes you will be able to offer him upgrades, or new items or a continuous basis.
Another good example of a company using marketing upsell is Amazon. If you purchased a book at Amazon, other books are suggested while making your purchase from the order page. They’ll also send you an email when a new book comes out related to the one you bought.
Conclusion
Instead of chasing new customers, you can always generate extra income from upselling your products. It’s a fact that 30 percent to 67 percent of all people can be up sold at the time of purchase. Make a list of all the different strategies you can use to upsell your clients, then put them into action.
You will be glad you did!

How to Repurpose Info Products - Part 2
For Part 1 read How to Repurpose Info Products - Part 1
5. Become an expert
If you create content for your niche that is then repurposed, reformatted you will soon be seen as the expert in your field. The best way to do this is to choose a niche that is not too competitive but is very popular.
6. Boost web traffic and visitors
Re-purposing content will increase the number of people who will interact with your products thus you will make more sales. You can increase traffic by creating a forum, blog and marketing to the search engines. The idea is to get your product in front of the people in your niche. ie if they are hanging out in myspace web sites then go there to interact with them.
7. Create a community
Once you have attracted lots of visitors, you can invite people to become affiliates. A team of affiliates will rapidly increase your sales because they are motivated to make money for themselves through selling your products. Be sure to treat them like business associates so they will be motivated to keep selling.
Tip 1
The best way to get started with re-purposing content is to create the content yourself because you will then have the copyright to it. Don’t use other people’s content for yourself because this would be an infringement of copyright. All content created on the web is automatically copyright protected.
Once you start making enough money to sustain yourself, you can start outsourcing your content creation.
Tip 2
Add bonuses to increase the quality of your products

3 Top Methods to Get Quickly Indexed by Google.
Google is still the largest search engine on the Net, so getting your web site indexed by it is crucial for web traffic. A new web site often takes a long time before it appears in Google’s search results.
Here are 3 fast ways to get a new web site into Google:
1. Get a link from a web site that is already in Google
The quality and quantity of links pointing to your web site determines its ranking in Google. Your ranking will increase in proportion to the links you get.
One of the best ways is to write an article and submit it to article directories since these are well established and get indexed by Google every day.
Visit forums or blogs related to your web site content and leave a well written and informative post. If you provide information that is valuable to others they will naturally wish to link to you.
2. Add a blog to your web site
Blogs tend to be quickly indexed by Google. Create a blog for your business then include links back to your web site in your posts. Google will find your web site by indexing your blog entry.
3. Submit a Press Release
Create a press release about your web site and submit it to:
PRWeb

Free Press Release

Make sure your press release is interesting, informative to read and includes a link back to your web site. If many people read it you may get hundreds or thousands of new links which will result in an immediate boost in traffic.
